Coach Ricky Zambrano is excited to announce Jared Beauchamp as SSC's Assistant Coach for the 2023 Gulf Coast Premier League Season.
"We are extremely happy and thankful to have Jared as a member of our staff. Jared brings a wealth of coaching experience along with a passion to help with the growth of our game in Southwest Georgia."
Coach Zambrano expects him to play a major role in game day preparation: "We expect Jared to handle a wide variety of aspects as a part of our coaching staff. He will play a major role in the technical & tactical preparation of the team."
Coach Jared sees this as an opportunity to grow soccer in SWGA while also growing as a coach: "I'm very excited to be a part of this program. SOWEGANS is providing an amazing opportunity for players in South GA and surrounding areas to not only showcase their talents but to become role models to the youth within the area."
He's also looking forward to the opportunity to work with Coach Zambrano: "Coach Zambrano has a very extensive coaching career and experience which I know working with him I'll be able to continue learning and developing more as a coach."
Jared has already been at work with the club assisting Coach Zambrano as he selects players for the inaugural roster.
Jared has coached soccer at the college level for 13 years and is currently the head coach for the women's soccer team at Albany State University since 2021. He was previously Head Women's Coach at Iowa Central CC (2016-2021), Head Men's Coach at Indian Hills CC (2015-2016), and Asst. Men's Coach at Iowa Central CC (2011-2015). He played his collegiate soccer at Francis Marion University.
